Give me a clue who you are,did you come to all the games last year? if so i was the loud mouth between the sticks!
Kind of get the feeling this is the Angie and Mr Mmmmm forum!

Well it's been fun Angie, Mum said i've got to go to bed now!
Still don't think it's the end of the world that RT and dodsy have been given the boot and i'm sure the real reasons for the decision will come to the surface eventually!
At least this forum has come to life at last, nothing like some banter!

Im a new member to this site, but i have been involved in the club from a young age, and im posting because i dont like how you are slating the club, the committee and the chairman. Yes i agree rob and steve did well and had success at the club, but every club needs to move on and change can be a good thing. I think the committee made the right choice in letting them go. And as for mr Barnes, people have short memories, he is a dereham boy through and through, he has played, managed and chairmaned this club and doing all with great success. I feel that the committee and the chairman are taking the club in the right direction and mr taylor and mr culyer arn't going to be a part of that. And i'm glad!

While im ranting. I would like to say that i agree with what 'not so worried guest' said about 'worried guest', it seems by your writing that maybe you are rob or steve. Also worried guest you seem to have it in for someone high up in the club, which seems to be pathetic, becasue slandering the commitee and chairman is quite an imature thing to do, and sacking the managment i think is the best thing to happen to the club all year, what else can we celebrate, norfolk senior cup anyone, oh sorry we didn't make it did we. Opps silly me! so farewell rob and steve! lets play some football and forget about the ex managers!

I know for a fact that RT has no access to a PC...and am sure neither of them would post on here.....they are far too busy being brokenhearted, gutted and let down after being crapped on from a very great height!

Norshef,
Where have you been, most commonsense things posted all night. Just a shame you weren't about earlier when things were a bit busier!

They havent been crapped on from a very great height! Managers come and go, its not the end of the world if they are let go of because another will follow and suprise suprise the world keeps turning. In a couple of days no one will give a crap bout this anymore! And i thought i would be nice to you, becasue its my first post, but really maybe people on this site are to wrapped up in their own little perfect world to realize the bigger picture, which is theirs still a club and a club which is going strong! sooner people let go of the past then the club can move on and hopefully we can bring back the norfolk senior cup to dereham next year. I'm backing the committee and the chairman!

Don't know but if the rumours of gus are true then i think he will make a good job of it. He will be able to interact well with the players and thats important with these young lads. Bring on Newmarket on Saturday!

Its really starting to annoy me now, becasue the more posts i read in the previous pages, the more i see people slating the committee and chairman again! Especially the pancake post about needing tossers. Running that club can't be an easy task and so far the committee and chairman are doing a great job. I wonder how many of you know that on saturday the chairman and the committee were at the club in the morning shovelling snow off the pitch, they worked constently for hours so it was playable. Or how many know that they paint fences and do odd jobs around the club on weekends. These people don't get paid like the managers do, they give up their time for love of the club and some of you are slating them becasue of a choice that they made in the interest of the club. Some of you may think it was rash or hasty, but it was their choice to make and i'm sure that they know what they're doing! So maybe these people aren't the tossers!

With regards to the departure of Rob Taylor and Steve Culyer from Dereham Town, I personally do not think that the decison to 'part company' with them was made lightly. Of course it was huge shame for Dereham to be knocked out of the Senior Cup last weekend but I am sure that wasn't one of the main reasons why Dereham Town let them go. There MUST have been more going on behind closed doors. Boards do not just sack managers for a laugh or without reasons do they? Reading the report in EDP24 Rob Taylor was voted out by 10 votes to 1! Obviously this suggests that there were more crucial things going on that perhaps any of us fans will never know about?! I guess it will all come out in the wash eventually and I am not one to speculate why there was such a breakdown in the relationship between Rob Taylor and the Dereham board. One cannot take away from Rob Taylor all that he did for Dereham but we must remember that the team aren't just going to forget how to play the game are they?! They are a very strong team with experience and they know what they have to do. Rob Taylor's 'way' will live on with them fo the time being and they aren't just going to change their game overnight. Everything in life happens for a reason and you can't dwell on the past. Rob Taylor is gone and the club must move on and 'get over it' They're aren't in dire straights and I personally don't think he could come back as he has obvioulsy lost the faith of the board. He will be fine I am sure. The most important thing is that we are all strong together and support the team. Long live D.T.F.C.!!!!!
