A definite under achievement against Woodbridge. Half the team looked like they didnt want to be there!

What a chrismas! I know its the time for giving presents but 3 points to Woodbridge, Wroxham and Mildenhall? Admittedly we did have chances at Wroxham but only piss poor finishing by them, and another poor ref, kept the score down. The second half at Mildenhall yesterday was just embarassing , the home keeper only touched the ball 4 times. The only good thing the ref blew up 5 mins early to get us all out of the torrential rain. I, along with many others will think long and hard before travelling to another away match The time has come for these players to take a long hard look at themselves, dont just turn up and take the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

;D Well lets look on the bright side We have some great individual talent, Sam, Gus, Ollie, Bazz, Nicky, Terror, Wrighty, All we need to do is get them playing again as a team and nobody in this league would be unbeatable. ;D

I agree with long john. Me, Bob and Gatty are well past it. Player for player, Dereham are as better than majority of sides in the league and better than their form suggests. A win today should get the new year off to a good start. I really do hope we can beat Kings Lynn today and get 1 over Matthew Henman. I never did like him anyway, waste of space.

Another poor start to the game by the lads, but id like to congratulate them on coming out after half time and working hard for one another to grind out a result at this difficult time of the season. i especially think that bazz and sam are putting in a good work rate everygame in midfield and hopefully taking the team in the right direction.

i would just like to say well done to the lads today, everybody on that pitch put 110% in even though new years day. Danny Wright seemed back to his normal self after his goal, brilliant to see that from you and with confidence back in your playing! Very impressed with the goal keeper too, he had a good game, hopefully see him more in the future.

Mathew Henman a waste of space not very bright are you Foxy! Tell me Mr "Del Boy" what have you done at Dereham Town over the past 15-20 years? Matt still gives 100% to the youth and does plenty of fund raising in which the club profits. Be nice to see you at the next work party......i think not. Matt left Dereham because of failed promises from the so called big men of the club, he ran the team when Jimmy walked, stepped in to run the under 18's, ran special training sessions to develop the older youth members the list goes on......Waste of space? I hope Matt reads this.

Fuming fan.
I think you are the one who is not very bright. Matthew Henman is 1 of my best mates, he is a legend at the club. I have played numerous games where chick has been my captain and I respect him a great deal for his efforts for DTFC.
You said you hoped Matt read this. I can assure you he did. I phoned him up when I posted this message, we had a laugh and he found it funny. Unlike you, he knew I was having a laugh with him.
As for me, over the last 20 years, I admit, I haven't done too much for the club, played a few games, the normal functions that went on, trained some of the youth team keepers. I can assure though, I have spent more than my fair share of dosh behind the bar of the club though, which I like to think is my way of supporting the club.
Cheers.
By the way, who are you?

Obviously fuming fan hasn't been following Dereham very long, not to know that John Fox is also a legend at the club and the post was very tongue in cheek.
