i've read in my pink un in the last few weeks that simon mowbray has scored several times for our youth team. when will he be given a go in the reserves to see if he can perform at that level?

Whilst I have no doubt that both First and Reserve team managers would prefer that Simon was playing for Dereham Reserves he is currently registered with Mattishall.

sorry, i assumed that we would only be playing and developing players in our youth team if it was for the benefit of our own senior teams not someone else's!
have we not got any other young strikers who do actually want to play for dereham. if so we should spend time and effort on them instead surely.
i mean you wouldn't find a lad playing for norwich u18's and ipswich reserves would you?!
