There has been much discussion in the past and it has now emerged again as to how many substitutes we should have on the bench at first team matches. This is decided by the Team Manager and rightly so. However your views would be appreciated.

I have watched the last 2 reserve home games, and am very disappointed that we lost 3-1 on both occasions, considering the great start to the season. I agree with the comments made about the need for 5 subs? This does seem slightly excessive, and we do want to get our reserves into the prem div, this will surely improve the all round standard at the club, and attract new players to our reserve side. I want to focus mainly on the loss to Loddon! The wind played a huge part that day, but Loddon seemed to have a much better team spirit, and willingness to win! They did score 3 great goals, and there was an awful refereeing decision in the 2nd half (should have been a penalty to us! Ref bottled it) The point I want to get to is this - Loddon had 2 very useful players, that I feel could bring our club (ressies & 1st) an added extra dimension - the young left winger - he was quick and skilful (SCORED 2ND GOAL), and their centre midfielder, their captain was a natural leader and a talented player (scored opener)! Do mngmt ever approach oppositions players to see if they would be interested in joining?
