:-XI'm back for one more posting. Having read through the most read topics again, it is apparent that the majority of posters in this forum are decent loyal supporters of DTFC. The few, and I am sure that there are only a couple of them posting under a variety of guest names, are trying to disrupt the real dicussions by real fans. If you real fans who still post under guest names were to register as members - its free - then us real fans would know who to ignore and who to discuss DTFC with. The idiots would soon get the message when nobody reponded to their inane posatings. Think about it DTFC fans. This could be a good forum for discussion if it was carried out properly.

I don't see what anyone has to hide by not registering and logging on (other than their timidity, spinelessness and total lack of conviction ;D). I think it would be a good idea to require anyone register if they want to post on here. It would be a good way of tracking the mindless pratts who have nothing to contribute other than their stupidity

I agree with you fully Nostalgia. I would also like to see the Webmaster removing the offensive postings - as he should be doing.

I don't think we should give them the benefit of a reply Nostalgia. Just ignore them and hopefully they will go back into the holes they crawled out of.

Fair enough, Braveheart. I guess the kids probably go back to school in a few days anyway

The current Colin Wines thread is yet another reason for members only posting on this website forum. The only truth you can expect is from the Membership Administrator who will sign in before he posts any reply from DTFC. Any other postings should be treated as wind ups and trouble making. I must agree though that it is about time we did here from the Administrator!!

Braveheart.
Just let the pranksters get on with it. It is all part of having a discussion board. You get good posts, bad posts and stupid posts and I must admit the stupid posts sometimes make me laugh.

Well now Foxy. It seems that somebody has posted in your name. Now maybe you can see why i have always wanted guys like you who have positive views to put forward to sign in as members. That way we will always know that the poster is who they say they are.

I have just filled out the registration form to become a registered user. Everything seemed fine until i read through the rules and regulations. It stated that a registered user couldn't be abusive. Well, i can't guarantee that so i am still not a registered user. I did try though.

Foxy Did you really post the last reply or was it someone else using your name?
Why dont you register. All your positive (non abusive posts) could be done under your registered name. When you wanted to conduct yourself in the same way as the kids on the site you could post as a guest. Best of both worlds.!!!!!

The views expressed are those of the author and not of Dereham Town Football Club. Every effort will be made to promptly remove any posting deemed to be offensive and/or libelous.
The above words are copied straight from the bottom of this Bulletin Board. How about DTFC making sure that they are upheld. Of course maybe DTFC management and committee don't even bother to read these posts.

The only way to get this Bulletin Board running correctly is to follow the example of our FA Cup opponents. Go to their website and try and post offensive comments. You can't without them knowing exactly who you are. Is this the way Forward?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no wish to stifle discussion, or indeed criticism, but the number of posts from/to "guests" is becoming confusing (to me at least!). Therefore from 14th November 2005 you will be required to register/login to post. However, if enough people tell me I'm wrong I will re-consider.
