I was at the club tonight and learnt of the sad death of Tony Aldiss. i grew up at the club knowing Tony as 'THE CHAIRMAN' firstly at The Rec and then on to the aptly named Aldiss Park. Tony played a very large part in the history of the club and where it is today. I'm sure he would appreciate everyone raising a large glass of Bells in his honour.

Good speech Chick.
TONY ALDISS, without him at the club, Dereham Town F.C would not be where it is today. He was a Magpies fan through and through and I feel privelidged to have played for Dereham during his reign as 'The Chairman'. I will always cherish my memories of enjoying a drink and a chat with Tony in the clubhouse after the games. He was a superb bloke and a gentleman.
We will all miss you Tony.
