The website offers reports for the first team games, though these invariably appear on the website a few days after the game. Why such a long delay?
The reserves and A team reports are hardly ever even uploaded. Do you receive reports for these games?
I for one would like to read reports about the games our teams play, as soon as is possible after the games have finished, and I'm sure many other fans feel the same.
Is the situation likely to change anytime soon?

This is laughable when you question people who give up (generally) their free time to run a club's website. It actually annoys me because i am sure that the people who run the website have other careers and families to think about, rather than just this website!
Come on get real.....i am sure that as soon as is possible all reports etc are put onto the website without delay.

I am not having a go at the people who give up their free time to look after this website, I appreciate the work that they do.
All I was asking was why the reports didn't appear for so long, if ever.
I sometimes read reserve team match reports (which I believe are written by the managers) in the Dereham Times. Surely the club must have a copy of these and can get them on to the website for people to read?
All I am saying is that it doesn't look good for the club if the website isn't kept up to date - people want to know what is going on with our club - they don't want to read reports 5 days after the game in the papers if they could read them on a Saturday night or Sunday on the website.
The club have plenty of money to keep bringing in new players, could they not perhaps pay someone to keep the website up to date if those who (admirably) give up their free time cannot do so?

The Webmaster attempts to go to all 1st team matches. When he does, the report is on the website on the same day as the match if a daytime kick off, and at the most the next day if it is an evening one. The results of the matches are always on the website within an hour of the match finishing. The results of all the Dereham Town Team matches (Reserves, Youth, A Team, Ladies etc are put on the website as soon as the webmaster can get his hands on them.
The webmaster will gladly post match reports from any Dereham Town Team. All that is required is for them to be e-mailed to him. He can't be in two places at once!
It is really up to the managers and players of the different teams to get the reports to the webmaster quickly.
If anyone wants to help - you know where we are.
