maybe i'm being to critical, but it's seems very unprofessional to me that our players see fit to play little pranks with each other on the forum. perhaps these comments and 'team jokes' should be left to the changing room along with pictures of them drunk on a night out. by all means enjoy a night out but keep it to yourself boys, in my opinion it doesn't reflect to well on the club to air them on here, especially after 2 home defeats against sides we should be beating. bearing in mind you are paid by the club to play you should adopt a more professional atitude.

Firstly when you say pranks, what do you mean? Has someone's tracksuit been cut up or a players car been trashed, the answer I think not. The only crime was, after a night out, the reason for which being to encourage team sprit, thus why you see 1st team and reserve players together, was that not everyone could make it. Its a few pictures of players enjoying themselves as a group from dtfc, not footage of a bar room brawl etc.
This is the dereham town fc forum, so are you suggesting that players for dereham town shouldnt be able to communicate through this, if so why not? The clubs 'image' is not tarnished by doing so, in fact it shows how much players care about the state of the club and are interested in improving the links between players and fans. If a player doesn't have reguarly access to email, the forum is ideal for them.
Yes they might be paid by the club to play, but you have to take into account that if they get injured and cant play or, Work, that means they dont earn anything at all. I totally agree that they must have a professional attitude towards playing, thats why they should want to beat needham market on saturday and win all there other games.

in reply to your reply.
1. no i don't think players should communicate to each other through the forum. they see each other at matches and in training and all pranks (winding each other up) should be left to then. and by the way they have to have access to email to register on this forum woman!
2. no player has communicated with our fans during these threads. one did communicate with a fan of a different team and made a mockery of quite a serious incident. (woodbridge fan's and our gk).
3. it seems one player has seen it fit to remove a message. ('don't worry team joke' - aimo). actually we weren't worried aimo! would you say that was an attempt to communicate with the fan's?!
4. your last paragraph is an absolute nonsense. we all do things in life that can cause injury and reduce our ability to earn an income. to intimate that they are somehow putting themselves on the line for us by playing is ridiculous, in my opinion they are lucky to get paid as much as they are rumoured to be. perhaps they should allocate some of their wages to get health insurance, then we can all sleep easier!!
we are a young and improving, and a little inconsistent team and i'm not knocking their efforts on the pitch or their team bonding off it. i was purely expressing a concern about, in my view, a lack of professionalism.
if our opinions differ then fine, that's what the forum's for.
see you in the stand woman!
