Rubbish game to watch but great result!Very Surprised Nicky Howell got "man of match",in my opinion Graham Challen was,he never put a foot wrong all night. It was fitting to see Bazza score the winner after the birth of his 2nd child and it being such a special occasion for the football club!Well done the lads!

Who was the tanned, young looking & chiseld goal keeper for Dereham last night, he did look a little like that ronaldo chap playing for Man U!

great to see andy gleve warming up with the squad last night, this really does show the togetherness within the dereham squad at the moment. although i am concerned the 2 week lay off has added a few pounds to his behind, maybe he should swap shorts with young nicky who always seems to get the biggest shorts!

Not sure if I am missing something but where are all the pictures of your victory. Should they not be all over the homepage and making the most of the publicity you may be receiving at present? If there is such a page on your web then please let us know. Also has the match report been done yet!

I have it on good authority that the after match celebrations at the club house were a damp squib and that the bar closed 30 minutes after the players got back. What would have happened if they had lost?

I spoke to Paul Nichols the day after the final, he told me that he twisted his knee in the first couple of minutes and that he could not carry on. G. Davies.

When the players got back to the club they received a rapturous applause for their achievement from those who bothered to to show up, as well as a free bar for a good hour after they arrived. Unfortunately the bar did close at the time required by law. Once again well done the lads! Hopefully some of the people that showed up on wednesday might show support for their local team in the future!

Nothing was pretty, the football, the players, Delias half time catering! The prettiest thing was to see the black and white ribbons of Dereham on the cup after all these years. The after match do was a good moment to savour for players ,thier families, committe and the fans who came back to celebrate. They won and thats all that matters whether the bar was open or not.

The cheeky noise on the radio interview was Nathan dropping his shorts and double slapping his arse. Just think yourselves fortunate as to have only heard it, as it definatley was not a pretty site. ;D

I spoke also to Niko after the game and he said he,d been suffering from nerves all day and decided at half time he had done enough to secure the victory. I personally think he was suffering from "biggist arsist nippus o charlieus!".

Has the cup final gone to Graham Challens head? I have it on good authority he has been parading his oiled semi naked body around the gym on his mobile! surely all that oil whilst using a mobile phone could lead to an accident!!!!!
