I expect the Ridgeons Reserve Legaue offers better facilities but would the football be as competitive i.e. would league points mean anything (as with say NCFC reserves)?
Seems a bit mickey mouse with a League Cup round robin competition etc
Long travelling distances also involved but guess ultimately it comes down to what one wants from a reserve side.
Personally would watch reserves sides play Sheringham, Blofield etc but not Stowmarket Res etc

Joining the Ridgeons reserve league would certainly be a challenge!!
I certainly have not been made aware of any planned moves to this a reserve league, and I am not sure that the club would be keen.
The first thing that springs to mind is costs. I would imaginge there is more travelling involved in a Ridgeons reserve league.
From a footballing perspective, the facilities etc would perhaps be better than some of the grounds we have visited this year, but I am not sure that there would be a large difference in the standard of football.
In truth I can see pro's and con's for the Ridgeons reserve league and the Anglian combination. My main aim at the moment is to give the side the best chance possible of playing in the premier of the Anglian combination, by concentrating on the next 4 matches.
Cheers Nashy
