We are fortunate to have a sponsor for a lap top at Needham, so we can upgrade the site as soon as the match is finished. It was a great cup tie yesterday, good luck in the next round.

Thanks for your good wishes for us in the next round Mayland Mick. DTFC has an internet connected PC in the Clubhouse so they have the ability to update the website after the match as well. it seems that your Club is a bit more organised than ours. Maybe someone in charge will read this and do something about it for the future.

Shame they don't use it properly. What the hell is that picture on the home page?

We are having a good run in the FA Cup and a lot of other fans from teams we are meeting are looking at our site and using our bulletin board. Webmaster - please get the website up to date and keep it that way. Forum Administrator - please monitor the board for abusive language and take it off. The website should reflect what DTFC is all about. Progress.

Unfortunately the webmaster relies on the reports being forwarded to him, therefore once he recieves them they go on the website!

I imagine it would be the football secretary who forwards the information to him. I have been told that it is one of the 1st team who is now in charge of the website. Surely he knows the players who were playing for Dereham and the score for the match. That should be put on the site as soon after the match as possible. 2 days later is just not good enough. We seem to be very good at making excuses at DTFC and not very good at taking action.

I agree that the basic outline of the result i.e team and score could be put on the website at the webmaster's earliest convenience. I am sure that the Webmaster will take on board your views.

Its good to see the web site getting so much attention. Its a pity that most of the postings are coming from our Saturday opponents.

A few of the Cheltenham guys have posted that they have had difficulty in registering on our forum. Have any of you Dereham fans had any difficulty?

Well it looks like i will have to get on my saopbox again. This bulletin board is being used by a lot of people and it is good to see that good debate and banter is going on. The website itself though is really not up to the mark. DTFC is not just the first team. The reserves through to the ladies team are all part of this Club. If the Committee really have the interest of the Club as a whole at heart they should ensure that a system is put in place to get all the teams news updated and onto the website before the next game at least. All we are getting at the moment is the results of some games without proper reports. The stats are all to pot and if they are not updated very soon they will be completely worthless. Come on guys - get a grip.

What about the 14+ youth teams who put money into the club as well....without them the place would fold.

Completely agree with you on that one. The youth are the seniors of the future
