If there is any women comign up for the game, can u remind them that all White Stiletto's will have to be left at the gate. We dont want the tone of the place lowering to much

In any case, how can Romford be considered to be rivals of Chelmsford City when they play in the Essex Senior League!

I think if dereham play to their full potential, we can give the less savory Essex persons a run for their money. Come on dereham, up the magpies!!!!!!!

With so much at stake on Saturday i am surprised that the Manager has not seen fit to come onto this forum and speak to the fans. The fans have done their bit in the last couple of weeks to drum up support for the game through this discussion board. This is the forum for Dereham Town FC to say their piece. Come on Robert, what is your view of this fixture. What do you want from the fans. We know from the press what you want from the team.

Great game today. The lads did themselves proud and made up for the dismal performance last week. The difference in footballing talent definitely showed. Chelmsford are a well drilled side with a team full of good ball players. Dereham played as well as I have seen for a while with the majority of them running themselves into the ground for the cause. Danny is getting back into match fitness and just needs to beleive in himself again. Maybe we showed Chelmsford too much respect though as we allowed them to control the edge of our box and backed off far too deep. To be fair though City were a yard faster and worked very well together. Every meaningful attack seemed to come through their No 8 though. maybe he needs watched more closely. A magnificent result for the Club. The lads done us proud!! Now lets finish it on Monday nght!!!!!!!

Thought it was a great performance today so much better than last week. Good luck for Monday to all the lads. Though Wrighty looks like hes well on his way to getting back to full fitness and was very impressed with Gus at the centre of the back. Well done everybody.

As a Chelmsford City fan can I say a big thank you for your hospitality. The car parking arrangements were superb. The burgers were first class and your officials were the best. Well done. Can I say you deserved the draw and as a City fan I hope we play to our potential Monday. Hope we repay the hospitality.

i travelled down to the game today expecting to see a grubby pitch with washed out lines and rusty goalposts, no disrespect intended. But credit to the club, a fantastic set up, friendly atmosphere and a pitch which was immaculate. I have had a little look on the internet and guessed that this was the place to let you no what i thought. Thought we probably edged the game and deserved to win but credit to your team, you have some very useful players, the small centre back for me the pick of the bunch, very gd player. All 4 goals had real quality about them particuarly kezie's ( our 1st ) and ure second goal. Anyway well done on a good game and thank you for such good facilities. May the best team win on monday!

Thanks for the compliments on our set up here in Norfolk. I must say in return that your fans were the best visitors I have had the pleasure of talking with in all my years of watching DTFC. No malice or offensiveness, just good natured banter. Look forward to renewng the discusion on Monday. The best team will win - I hope it is Dereham

You have a great set up guys, thank you all for making us feel so welcome. I cannot recall ever being served with tea in a mug at footy, and those burgers yum , yum. A big thank you to all the hard working volunteers behind the scenes that make the visit worthwhile. May the best team on Monday win and earn themselves hopefully a plum tie in the next round. ( you will need to raid the piggy bank if you are coming Monday our pricing I'm afraid are a bit higher!)

I'm afraid that I will not be able ot get to the match tonight as my work has taken me up to Newcastle today. Good luck to the lads tonight and as long as they do themselves justice and play the football we know they are capable of we can ask no more. A win would be oh so good!!!!!!!!!

Great effort boys. Couldn't make last night but thoroughly enjoyed the game on saturday. Would've been nice to meet man united in the final, but hey, there's always next year.
